Property Interest Still High

January 25, 2018

The first month of 2018 is almost behind us, and I can report that despite the media 'beat up' of a changing Auckland market, the levels of enquiry in property on the Matakana Coast still remains high. The Omaha market operates differently to the rest of Auckland, so I don't expect to see any price drops.

I am getting lots of enquiry on properties and what I'm noticing is that increasing numbers of people are very well informed on the market, and they know what they want in a property and what they can expect to get in the area.

As a seller, it is important to get the fundamentals right in a property, especially in presentation. Buyers are very quick to pick up the flaws in a property, which is why it pays to listen to the feedback from the market and if needed change the presentation of the property to ensure it has wider appeal especially when it comes to internal flow and landscaping.
