The last couple of weeks have seen an unprecedented turn of events unfold. By the time you read this, we’ll be almost a week into our nationwide lockdown, and slowly getting used to our new lives and schedules.
Omaha is quite busy, as many people are choosing to undertake their lockdown period here, along with the population of local residents. People running, biking, walking enjoying beach and quarry walks.
We as a community should be all proud of ourselves…. and I for one feel privileged and do appreciate being in such a wonderful place at these uncertain and troubling times.
I think we have a long road ahead before we get to the other side, and probably the way we have lived prior to Covid-19 will change I think for the better i.e. We will enjoy our own backyards better, and value and appreciate the communities we are in, and in making choices for better safe and healthy lifestyles.
No time like the present now is the perfect opportunity to start planning your next move. Research properties available, talk to me – like a lot of people, I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment!
It’s also a fantastic time to spruce up your current property if you are considering putting in on the market in the near future. Trim that tree in the front yard, put a coat of paint on that fence, fix that leaky guttering - there is always a long list of things to do to a property prior to sale. What’s the market going to do post Covid - 19 lockdown? Well, that’s the million dollar question, and a Pandora’s Box depending on where you live. The market was buoyant in the lead up to this lockdown. When we come out of this…. I’m predicting some parties who were looking to buy a property, are not going to, while some positions will remain the same….Coastal property such as what we see in Omaha will always be in high demand.
